Separated at the age of nineteen, but forever united by hope, two Argentine lovers manage to stay in touch even though the world separates them more and more. Persuasive messages, some of which take months to reach their recipient, dramatically alter the course of each person's life, but the time that passes between communications has a way of unraveling even the best-laid plans. Many years later, aboard a transatlantic flight, the two come together by chance, but the repercussions of this expected convergence could have global consequences.
